Afghan government approves $73m projects

The Afghan caretaker government approved 27 projects worth 5 billion Afghanis ($73 million) for implementation in Kabul and various provinces, the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs revealed on Sunday.

The projects include a water dam, residential apartments, roads, and electrical equipment.

The government anticipates that these projects would generate employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands of Afghans.

The government aims to initiate additional development and infrastructure projects using domestic funds in the war-torn country to address economic issues and generate employment opportunities.
