Egypt’s PMS signs MoU with AVEVA, MEEG to drive digital innovation in oil, gas sector

Egypt’s Petroleum Marine Services (PMS) signed on Tuesday a tri-party memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UK-based AVEVA and Mico Engineering Egypt (MEEG). The agreement aims to enhance technical services, data management, and digital solutions within the oil, gas, and marine industries.

AVEVA is a global leader in engineering design software and digital solutions, while MEEG is a specialist in electronic data transfer and 3D modeling technologies.

The partnership aims to deliver advanced services, including consultancy, installations, and digital data transfer, covering 3D modeling, digital twin technology, and monitoring the actual condition of marine units. It will also provide specialised training programmes to enhance technical skills and develop analytical reports and smart dashboards to support decision-making.
