Russia’s oil and petroleum product exports to Georgia increased by 20.7 per cent in the first four months of 2025, reaching over 289,200 tons, as per recent data from Georgia’s National Statistics Service.
Georgia imported oil and petroleum products valued at $205 million from Russia in the reporting period, as reported by the service. In the previous year, the country imported 239,590 tons worth $183.8 million.
Georgia imported 526,600 tons of oil and petroleum products worth $396.5 million in January-April. Russia accounted for over 54.9 per cent of these imports, followed by Romania, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Greece, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and other countries.
