Egypt’s currency gains ground at Sunday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, June 1 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 49.6531 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.7514, compared to Thursday’s rates of EGP 49.6983 and EGP 49.7983, respectively.
