Gold prices in Egypt climbed on Monday, tracking gains in global markets despite subdued domestic demand, according to data from official pricing platforms.
By 16:30 local time (14:30 GMT), 24-carat gold was pricing at 6714.25 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 97 pounds, or 0.1.47 per cent, from Sunday’s close of 6,617.25 pounds. Other purities posted similar rises:
