URGENT: Egyptians’ remittances rise 42.5% to $37.5b Jan to Nov 2025 – CBE

Remittances from Egyptians working abroad continued their upward trend, rising 42.5 per cent during January to November 2025 to a historic high of about $37.5 billion, compared to around $26.3 billion in the same period last year. Egypt’s Central Bank (CBE) reported on Monday.

On a monthly basis, remittances increased 39.9 per cent in November 2025, reaching about $3.6 billion, up from around $2.6 billion in November 2024.
