Egypt’s central bank unveils new scholarship programme for top university students
Egypt’s central bank and the Ministry of Higher Education on Tuesday launched a national initiative aimed at supporting high-achieving students at Egyptian universities. The move underscores the government’s focus on human capital development.
The programme, dubbed the Future Scholars Scholarship, was introduced under the patronage of Entissar El-Sisi, spouse of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.
The initiative is designed to provide academic and financial support to outstanding students, aligning with broader state efforts to invest in education and prepare a skilled workforce to support long-term economic growth.
