Egyptian Exchange briefly halts trading after technical glitch
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) briefly suspended trading on Monday due to a technical malfunction before resuming operations shortly after, it said.
In a statement to journalists, the bourse said it coordinated with Nasdaq, which provides its trading systems, to resolve the issue and restore normal operations.
Trading later resumed, the exchange said.
