Three Egyptian women — Maya Morsy, Fayza Abul Naga, and Neveen El-Tahri — won the Lifelong Achievement Award at Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony 2026 on Monday, in recognition of their decades-long contributions to public service, economic development, and national policymaking.

Morsy, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity, was recognised for her role in advancing social protection policies and supporting vulnerable groups through a range of government initiatives.

Abul Naga, currently advisor to the president for national security affairs, was honoured for decades of public service, including her contributions to economic diplomacy, development cooperation, and strategic policymaking.

El-Tahri, a member of the Egyptian House of Representatives’ Economic Affairs Committee and founder and chairperson of Shield Investment, was recognised for her role in promoting investment, entrepreneurship, and private-sector development in Egypt.

The awards were presented during the 11th edition of the annual Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony in Cairo, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.

The ceremony brought together senior officials, business executives and industry leaders to celebrate achievements across Egypt’s economic and social sectors, under the theme “Leading the Narrative: Shaping the Future.”
