Five Egyptian startups win Entrepreneurs Awards at Amwal Al Ghad 2026

Five Egyptian startups — Nawah Scientific, Nawy, Octane, Money Fellows, and Swypex — won the Entrepreneurs Awards at the Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony 2026 on Monday, in recognition of their contributions to innovation and entrepreneurship across Egypt’s fast-growing startup ecosystem.

The awards highlighted the companies’ role in advancing technology-driven solutions across sectors ranging from scientific research and real estate technology to fintech and digital payments, reflecting the growing diversity of Egypt’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Nawah Scientific was recognised for expanding access to scientific research and laboratory services, while Nawy was honoured for its growth in the property technology sector, helping digitise Egypt’s real estate market.

Octane, Money Fellows, and Swypex were recognised for their efforts to develop financial technology solutions to improve payments, savings, and business financial management.

The recognition comes as Egypt seeks to strengthen its startup ecosystem and position entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic growth, innovation and job creation.

The awards were presented during the 11th edition of the annual Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony in Cairo, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.

This year’s event, held under the theme “Leading the Narrative: Shaping the Future,” brought together senior government officials, investors, executives, and entrepreneurs to discuss the role of innovation and private-sector growth in shaping Egypt’s economic future.
