The Egyptian pound was little changed against the US dollar in midday trading on Tuesday, amid continued stability across Egypt’s major banks as of 12:30 p.m. local time (09:30 GMT).
The dollar traded at an average of EGP 50.94 for buying and EGP 51.04 for selling across five major banks, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.
| Bank | Buy (EGP/USD) | Sell (EGP/USD) |
| National Bank of Egypt (NBE) | 50.9 | 51 |
| Banque Misr | 50.9 | 51 |
| Commercial International Bank (CIB) | 50.91 | 51.01 |
| QNB Alahli | 50.9000 | 51.0000 |
