Suez Canal Bank Eyes to Attain EGP200 mln Finance for SMEs Projects by 2014-End

Sherif Fakhry, Head of SMEs Projects in Suez Canal Bank said the total funds of the bank for SMEs projects reached EGP80 million at the end of 2013.

Fakhry has quoted Amwal Al Ghad that Suez Canal has an ambitious plan which seeks to expand in Financing the projects and attain EGP200 million by the end of 2014.

The banks have to interest in financing SMEs projects to provide job opportunities in the light of the highly rates of unemployment, Fakhry noted.
