Egyptian Banks Seek Expanding in Retail Banking Sector

Vice Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt  Sharif Alawi said retail banking sector has witnessed remarkable growth in the last period, as the banks headed to personal loans along with small and medium sized projects as both trends have a promising opportunities within the next period.

The products must be verified so as to meet with the clients’ requests, noting that neighboring countries where have great experiences in the banking market and individual services, especially internet usage will boost these countries to exceed 100% annually, Alawi asserted.

He explained that the entry of expertise banks in the  retail banking market to the Egyptian market contribute to activate personal services.
