Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Naglaa El-Ahwani said that the volume of French investments in Egypt reached $6.7 billion.
In statements, El-Ahwani added that the trade exchange between Egypt and France hit $3.1 billion in 2013.
She hailed the role played by French companies working in Egypt to finance key development projects in line with the Egyptian economic reform plan.
The minister made the remarks during her meeting with French Ambassador in Cairo Andre Baran as they signed a financial cooperation’s protocol at a value of more than 7 million Euros to fund the replacement of navigation systems of Taba airport for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
