Jaguar Land Rover Egypt sales up 40% in 2015

Official Jaguar and Land Rover importer in Egypt, MTI Automotive reported a 40 percent increase in car sales for 2015, its general manager Ahmed El Gharib announced Thursday.

MTI Automotive has released Jaguar’s latest model F-PACE during the Automech Formula auto show, which is running in Cairo from 16 to 21 March.

The new Jag F-PACE snags not only the 380-hp, supercharged 3.0-litre V-6 from the F-Type but also the driveline from the all-wheel-drive version of the sports car, El Gharib told Amwal Al Ghad on Thursday.

Furthermore, El Gharib added that MTI posted a record rise of 50 percent in Land Rover Range Rover Sport sales during 2015, compared to 2014 sales.

MTI achieved also another unprecedented record rise in sales of the Land Rover Discovery Sport exceeding 100 cars following its released in early June 2015 in Egypt, he stated.
