Kuwaiti-based company responsible for launching electronic payment services in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and America, Isys, announced today rebranding under the name One Global. This came as preparations to launch several new product lines.
With headquarters in Kuwait, the company exists under the umbrella of the International Authority of Financial Electronic Systems. It is also licensed by a number of central banks in the region, including the Central Bank of Sudan, and the Central Bank of Bahrain, to provide Electronic payment services.
“Recent political events, as well as the continuous revolution that creates constant change in the telecommunications, information technology, and mobile financial industries, motivated our senior management to rebrand the business,” explained Mohammed ShamlanAl-Rashidi, founder and CEO. “We want to be recognized as Global, society driven instead of local technology company, while at the same time operate our business under a name that meets our customers’ expectations and allows us to focus on aligning the company with a strategy for marketing vertical products.”
Currently, One Global’s showcase product, Payit, has become a very popular application for electronic payments. The company provides sales and support services from 15 offices located across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and America.
“We will soon introduce a new line of technologically-advanced products under the One Global brand, thus impacting several new markets including travel, health, entertainment, and other sectors,” said Al-Rashidi. One Global also intends to open offices in 10 new markets in the next three years.
“In a short period of time,” continued Al-Rashidi, a graduate of Computer Engineering College, University of Kuwait “we’re about to see unprecedented demand for digital transactions, and One Global is now positioned to take advantage of the boom in several niches.”
Developing a new brand name required the company’s senior management to select a name that “embodied the company’s desire for expansion, while also preserving the company’s previous 10-year commitment as a leading provider in digital financial solutions,” explained Al-Rashidi. “These criteria led to an ambitious strategy, which we titled ‘One’, and on this basis we opted to associate this new brand name with our operational vision as well as our plans for expansion,” he explained.
Senior management expects One Global to continue to be “the window for the cash payments revolution in Kuwait and worldwide,” and the company promises to expand that window to include new niche markets.
Al-Rashidi revealed that One Global will offer an impressive array of services and products to businesses and consumers. He said, “We believe our new name will resonate positively with our customers, who will benefit from the products and services that the company will provide in the next stage.”
One Global will continue to provide state-of-the-art communication technology. “On the one hand,” Al-Rashidi elaborated, “the company will focus on observing market needs, and on the other hand keep pace with the rapidly developing technical applications that will serve our clients.” The new vertical products are being developed in conjunction with in-depth analytical studies to best determine the nature of the evolution of the electronic payments market.
