Banque Misr to launch 10 Design Houses as part of Nilepreneurs initiative

Egypt’s second-largest state-run bank, Banque Misr, seeks to implement 10 Design Houses for entrepreneurs in the frame work of Nilepreneurs initiative to develop SMEs, its CEO and Managing Director Mohamed El-Etreby said.

He told Amwal Al Ghad on the side lines of the launching ceremony of the initiative that the Design House is the first of its kind in the Egyptian universities working with entrepreneurs and startups.

The design house includes organizing training sessions and workshops for Startup Companies and for the owners of Small and Medium Enterprises, these sessions and workshops are mainly based on design concepts and mythologies, as well as the tools and technologies of manufacturing.

Moreover, the target products include home appliances, furniture, integrated systems and hydro-electromechanical products, and the target categories are the startup companies and SMEs.
