Entrepreneurship given tremendous support by political leadership
Amr Abou Elazm, a member in the ICSB and President of Middle East Council For Small Business & Entrepreneurship (MCSBE), said that entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs enjoy tremendous support from the Egyptian President.
He further noted during his speech at the ICSB World Congress 2019 that the current period is witnessing the launch of a large number of initiatives such as the establishment of a considerable number of incubators and business accelerators.
Abou Elazm added that Egypt has been mandated in August 2018 to host the 64th edition of the ICSB World Congress, pointing out that the economy based on SMEs is currently blooming in Egypt either in terms of the number of companies established annually or the spread of awareness between the decision makers.
He further noted, “We are part of the ecosystem but today we ARE the ecosystem, with 1500 ICSB members, 200 entrepreneurs and 55 organizations attending this conference.”
“The conference aims at providing a full picture of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. There is a global movement to grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem as well as that of SME and microbusiness.”
