Egypt assigns $13.5mn in support to chemical industry fairs, trade missions
Egyptian Chemical & Fertilizers Export Council (CEC) has allocated 225 million Egyptian pounds ($13.5 million) to support the Egyptian companies participation in exhibitions and trade missions with in the current fiscal year, according to its head Khaled Abu El Makarem.
He added that CEC assigned 100 million pounds within the first half of the current year, while it allotted 125 million pounds during the first half of 2020.
Abu El Makarem further noted that assigning these funds contribute in encouraging these companies to participate in fairs and exhibitions.
On the other hand, CEC is currently reviewing the executive regulations of the new export support programme in preparation for its issuance in the beginning of the next month.
CEC head also added that an amount of 6 billion pounds has been allocated to the new programme.
