Two million homes fully supplied with gas in Egypt last two years – source

State-run Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) delivered natural gas to almost 2 million homes over the past two years, said a source in the company on Sunday.

“Around 10 million homes nationwide are currently being supplied with natural gas,” an official source in EGAS further told Amwal Al Ghad.

The company seeks to transfer cars to operate in gas, through establishing a number of natural gas stations across the country, he added.

“More than 276,000 cars have been transferred to operate in gas,” the source said.
