Egypt-based Tervina Import and Export is targeting a 50 percent growth in sales to register 500 million Egyptian pounds ($31 million) at the end of this year, general coordinator said on Sunday.
Ahmed Atef told Amwal Al Ghad that Tervina – a leading company for surface, submersible pumps, and electric motors – had generated sales of 250 million pounds during 2018, aiming to double this number through its agents all over Egypt.
Tervina owns 49 percent of the Italian Vama shares which is the main supplier of the products launched in the market, Atef said.
He pointed out that the company is studying the possibility of establishing a factory to collect pumps in Egypt during the coming period.
