US-Egypt Joint Economic Commission to discuss investment, trade on Sept 4-5
The US-Egypt Joint Economic Commission is set to convene in Washington on September 4-5, said Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib during his meeting with US Ambassador Herro Mustafa on Monday.
The Commission will feature a two-day agenda.
Day one: Government officials from both countries will meet to discuss the progress made since the previous commission meeting. They will also explore Egypt’s economic landscape, investment incentives, and challenges faced by businesses. Additionally, potential investment opportunities in Egypt will be highlighted.
Day two: The focus will shift to the private sector. Representatives from US and Egyptian companies will engage in discussions to foster partnerships and explore collaboration opportunities aligned with Egypt’s strategic priorities.
