Egypt’s stocks end mixed, benchmark EGX 30 falls 0.16% on Wednesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed in mixed notes on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling 0.16 percent to 11,619 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.10 percent to 2,417 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.32 percent to 14,190 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dipped 0.03 percent to 3,447 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 tumbled 0.39 percent at 2,409 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth more than 700 million Egyptian pounds ($44.6 million) to close at 707.381 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approximately reached 6.2 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 615.767 million securities executed 55,140 transactions.
