Egypt’s pound currency dropped to exceed the EGP 25 level against the U.S. dollar during the morning trade at banks on Wednesday.
At the Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBank), the pound fell to EGP 25.05 against the U.S. dollar for buying and EGP 25.10 for sale. At HSBC, the greenback recorded EGP 25 for buying and EGP 25.10 for sale.
Meanwhile, the pound recorded around 25.12 against the U.S. dollar for buying and EGP 25.22 for sale at the Ahli United Bank and EGP 25.22 for buying and EGP 25.05 for sale at Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt.
