United States market briefing 27/04/2023

The majority of the United States market closed low on Thursday with the Dow falling by 0.7 percent to 33,301.87. The index lost 228.96 points during the day’s trade.

The tech-heavy NASDAQ Composite finished at 11,854.35, and gained 0.5 percent.

The S&P 500 index fell by 0.4 percent to close at a value of 4,055.99.
