Gold prices in Egypt dropped on Wednesday, tracking global bullion prices and exchange-rate movements, according to market data at 16:15 local time (13:15 GMT).
The 24-carat gold was trading at 6,542.75 Egyptian pounds per gram, down 148.75 pounds, or 2.22 per cent, from 6,691.5 pounds on Monday.
