Oil giant Shell is capturing 15% of market share of lubricants in Egypt, said managing director of Shell Lubricants, Saher Hashem on Thursday.
Shell Egypt has a consumption rate for oils ranging between 400-500 million litres a year, whereas for lubricating oils, it amounts to 260-280 million litres a year, he noted.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Hashem said; “Shell has plans to boost the production capacity of its plant in 6th of October City, to exceed 100 million litres within the next 3 years.”
