Egypt’s Abu Qir Fertilizers has attained net profit of 506.6 million Egyptian pounds (US$64.6 million) during the first half of fiscal year 2015-16, marking 25.4 percent growth.
According to company’s unaudited business results that have been endorsed Sunday, Abu Qir has achieved net profit estimated at 404.13 million pounds during the first half of 2014.
The company saw net profits of 506.6 million pounds during the first half of FY15-16, up from 404.13 million pounds at the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, the company’s six-month revenues went up 5.9 percent to nearly 1.8 billion pounds in, compared with 1.7 billion pounds for the corresponding period of the previous year.
