Egypt and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the exchange of petroleum and mining information, Egypt Oil and Gas reported on Sunday.
The MoU was signed by the Egyptian petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla and the Saudi energy minister Khaled al Falih on the sidelines of the 16th International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting held in New Delhi, India on 10-12 April.
The agreement will reinforce mutual cooperation between Egyptian and Saudi petrochemical companies, as well as will ease sharing and exchange of experiences.
Both ministers have agreed to schedule visits between Egyptian and Saudi oil companies operating in the fields of petroleum and mining.
