Cairo Airport Company, part of the state-run Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, has launched a call for tenders on a new insurance policy for the company’s employees and their families.
The policy is to cover medical insurance for one year, Mohamed El-Ghadrify, a broker with knowledge of the deal, told Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday.
With total sum insured worth 275 million Egyptian pounds ($15.5 million), the policy will serve a total of 5500 individuals, including 2000 of employees working in Cairo Airport in addition their families, El-Ghadrify added.
The coverage will worth 50,000 pounds per family, according to the insurance policy, whose cover will involve medical examination, outpatient clinics, tests, surgeries, treatment of mental illness, intensive care services, and a maximum of six dialysis sessions, he added.
Cairo Airport Company will open the technical and financial bids on November 30th, El-Ghadrify revealed.
